The organisers of the Blackburn Cathedral Flower Festival in Blackburn have announced a new partnership with Eric Wright Group for the 2016 event.
Eric Wright Group, who recently completed the first phase of a new 200,000 sq ft mixed-use commercial quarter in the heart of Blackburn, have sponsored the forthcoming festival which takes place from 23rd to 26th June.
The Blackburn Cathedral Quarter, developed by Maple Grove Developments, comprises a new six-storey office block, 60-bed Premier Inn hotel, restaurant and car park arranged around a new
piazza-style public square and transport interchange.
Jeremy Hartley, managing director of the Eric Wright Group, said: “The Eric Wright Group is pleased to support the Blackburn Flower Festival. We have had a real involvement in the town for a number of years delivering namely Blackburn Cathedral Quarter, Blackburn Sports and Leisure Centre and the Barbara Castle Way Health Centre and look forward to our continued involvement and support with the local community in which we work.”
One of the Flower Festival organisers, Lowry Cope, said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Eric Wright Group who have joined the growing list of sponsors for the event. It is perfect timing for the firm to get involved considering their recent role developing and constructing Blackburn’s Cathedral Quarter.”
Eric Wright Group has a number of divisions covering construction and civil engineering to property development and facility management.
